Monday Madness

It’s the end of Monday, well, actually 2:20AM on Tuesday morning. Monday’s are always rough at work, and it’s especially true here. We have our weekly staff meeting at 9AM, for which nobody, including myself, is ever ready. We go through the motion of the meeting but really nothing gets decided. Then, before you know it, it’s lunch time. I so want these meetings to be 1 hour short, but it’s never the case.Senior Staff Meeting - Monday morning-4

In less than 5 hours, Rafael will come to my house and we head to the gym at 7:15AM. This is a new development. I hope I can last with this latest bout of insomnia. Last work out was Saturday and boy did it hurt. On top of that, I’ve run out of drinking water around the house, so feeling a little dehydrated.

There are so many things to do before I go to the site on Wednesday. I might end up not going. I’ve also just decided to go to Arusha for a work conference next week, which means I’m running out of time to prepare for my presentation in Boston and also working to get things set up here. I really want everything to be set up before I leave, hopefully it will happen.

Things to do before I leave:
- put all electronic files on the server
- make sure contract renewals are in order
- hire 4 nurses
- hire 2 tracers
- get the sites on new internet contract
- get Investigator’s files ready for monitor visit
- make sure GCP training is set up
- set up Seminar speakers
- retire all receipts
- make sure Joseph has his own imprest while I’m gone

I guess that’s about it. Seems like a lot of work though, I guess it helps to put it down.
